About Agilty Health

Agility Health is a subsidiary of Agility Holdings and one of the ten largest open medical scheme administrators in the South African healthcare industry. The medical organisation prides itself in its ability to customise health plans and cater to their clients individual and unique needs.

Although international, Agility Health operates predominantly in South Africa and serves clients throughout the African continent. The medical administrative group specializes in automation and specialized technical services while maintaining a passion for Africa.

The Situation

Agility Health kept to their mandate and commitment to the health industry by looking to empower young people who understand their service most – people living with disabilities.

The organisation planned to do this through a customer-facing role of call-centre learnership. This ensured that members with the most empathy regarding health challenges engaged with clients as they would be the most expert to understand client’s needs.

Agility Health was aware of our mission to make opportunities and education available to more people, more often and that we had a mandate to increase the inclusion of these opportunities. Due to the shared-value of increased inclusion, Agility Health was encouraged to partner with us to make this impact possible!

Special Ingredient

The WhatsApp application system for the Call Centre Learnership enabled members to apply, send documents and take interviews through WhatsApp without facing any logistics complications potentially created by their disabilities. This meant that Agility Health could receive a more accurate and complete picture of the different candidates  and thus make more informed decisions on candidates. This was especially important because the candidates had unique needs and challenges.

The convenience of the process ensured that the opportunity had minimal barriers to success.
