Tech Team

About me:

A lover of people, tech and coffee. Basically, just a guy trying to help solve people problems using tech and drinking coffee while doing it.

Favourite Value:

Curiosity. The world and everything in it is fascinating. It is also evolving and changing constantly. To stay relevant and to innovate I just need to keep asking questions, perhaps I will one day find every single answer to every single question. Till then, I remain Curious Ray.

Jason Schwegmann

Head of Operations

About me:

I love to exercise outdoors where you can find me either running or cycling in the mountain ranges of the Western Cape. I’m a really passionate about education as I believe this is the one tool that will give every person the best chance at unlocking their full potential. My dream is to open a primary school to help the underprivileged get educated in South Africa.

Favourite Value:

Accountability. I believe that when you are accountable it means that you get your work done to the best of your ability, on time, every time. Is also ensures and that your team can trust and rely on you to get your work done. Being accountable also means taking responsibility for when things don’t always go the way you wanted them to and owning your mistakes. When everyone is accountable and commits to do what they say, this is when you will be able to make a difference.

Munawwarah Ebrahim

Marketing Manager

About me:

I believe I can make a difference. I believe we all can. I am a 22 year old Entrepreneur and creative who believes the mixture for magic is in waking up everyday and doing what you love and are truly passionate about, this allows one to pour their heart and soul into everything they do. As someone who is always wanting to learn and absorb from those around me in order to continuously be changing, improving and evolving into the best version of myself – I am able to be multi-dimensional, dynamic and adaptable, and resilient in the face of failure. Through joining The Knowledge Trust just over a year ago, now as their Marketing Manager – I was able to find something I didn’t know I was looking for.

Favourite Value:

Growth Mindset. “Your life is as good as your mindset”. Having a Growth Mindset allows you to believe that everything and anything you set your mind to can be achieved. It allows you to build yourself to be dependable, resilient and strong willed. YOU are responsible for the results in your life and nothing is out of your reach. A positive mindset which is a large factor of a Growth Mindset, leads to a positive attitude and ultimately positive action.

Growth Mindset. I resonate with Growth Mindset more because I am a product of all my failures. I wouldn’t know that success exists if I did not try one more time. About me:

When I’m not behind my laptop or making phone calls, you’ll find me reading a book, cooking a meal, or listening to a podcast. I should probably go outside more – I’m working on this.

Favourite Value:

Growth mindset. We don’t know what we don’t know. In order to change the world and realise our vision, we need to be comfortable with not knowing and failing regularly. We will continue to keep trying, testing, failing, iterating, and trying again – and we’ll need a growth mindset do that.

Linda Uzoma

Graduate Programme 2022

About me:

I love people, I love nature, I am a goal getter, a perfectionist and will rarely be found with a hair out of place. You would swear I am an introvert at our first meeting but by the 10th meeting you will bet your life that there is an “extra” in my extroverted nature. I would rather loose a teeth than say no to Cakes and any form of Meat. I am constantly asking “why?” I believe there’s a wealth of information out there, and if i ask the right questions i can know anything and everything. And most of all I believe everyone is a product of what they know and what they do with what they know.

Favourite Value:

Kindness because I believe every human being craves kindness and love, everyone is on Attack mode because we keep being unkind and unloving to one another. But a little act of kindness can melt the coldest hearts. With the right amount of love and kindness even a Lion can become a Lamb.
