Shapiro Shaik Defries and Associates (SSDA) has a strong presence in the South African Debt Collection Industry. We started with four collectors in 2004 and we now employ over 600 collectors.

Our support departments include: Database Administration, IT, Recruitment, Training, Quality Assurance and Shared Services.
Join our team
We are looking for outbound Collections Agents to contact debtors and negotiate payments on delinquent accounts while creating a sense of urgency on the payment thereof. We will need you to ensure high level collections at all times within the set parameters of the Debt Collections Act, National Credit Act, as well as company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Matric or equivalent qualification required (with atleast Maths Literacy)
- Minimum 6 months experience as a Debt Collections Agent in an outbound call centre
- Computer Literacy
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Outstanding telephone etiquette and interpersonal skills
- Good typing and accuracy skills
- Team player, target driven and self-motivated
- Strong negotiation skills
